AWH offers the following specialties:

Obstetrics - Management of care of pregnancy and childbirth. We offer a variety of prenatal and childbirth classes.

Gynecology - Diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders of the female reproductive system.

Maternal-Fetal Medicine- Specialized consultation services for high risk pregnancies complicated by maternal conditions including but not limited to genetic abnormalities, diabetes, high blood pressure; fetal conditions including but not limited to abnormal ultrasound findings or abnormal pregnancy screening results; multiple gestation (twins, triplets or more), amniocentesis, family history of abnormalities, recurrent miscarriage and pregnancy loss, hemostasis and thrombosis.  These consultations are provided by a fellowship trained Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist/Perinatologist who is certified in Nuchal Translucency.

Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery- Gynecology Oncology - Comprehensive care to the woman with a premalignant or malignant condition of the reproductive system.

Nurse Midwife- The collaborative team of a nurse-midwife and physicians offer women an optimal combination of primary, preventive care with specialized services as needed. The professional interaction between the midwife and the physician clearly enhance the practice of both specialties.

Women's Continence Center - Are you concerned about urine leakage or sudden urges?  Urinary incontinence affects 17 million Americans, of whom 85 percent are women.  We offer evaluation, counseling, follow-up, and several treatment options that include behavioral techniques, pelvic muscle training, medications, and surgery. 


Additional Services include: Normal obstetrics, Diagnosis and evaluation of high-risk obstetrics, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Annual gynecologic and well woman exams, Adolescent gynecology, Evaluation and treatment of abnormal pap smears, Preconception counseling and family planning, Contraceptive counseling and treatment, Diagnosis and initial treatment of infertility, Diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic cancers, Diagnosis and treatment of menstrual problems, Menopausal and perimenopausal management and HRT, Osteoporosis counseling and treatment, Vaginal surgery, hysterectomy, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, Consultations, Amniocentesis, Ultrasound, Nuchal Translucency, laparoscopic hysterectomy, Biophysical Profile, Fetal Non-stress Test, and Midwife services.
